Homemade Chicken Salad is a breeze to throw together with a few simple ingredients. Chicken, celery, sweet grapes, and crunchy almonds are tossed in a creamy, tangy mayo dressing and chilled to perfection.

Mayonnaise ⅓ cup 120 g
Dijon mustard 1 ⅓ tablespoons ~20 g
Salt ⅓ teaspoon ~2 g
Black pepper, ground ⅓ teaspoon ~1 g

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped cooked chicken, celery, green onions, halved grapes, and sliced almonds.
  2. Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir everything together until evenly coated and combined.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (ideally 2 hours) to let the flavors meld.
  5. Taste after chilling and adjust seasoning with more salt or pepper if desired.
  6. Serve cold, either in sandwiches, wraps, or over a bed of salad greens.

💡 Notes

  • This salad must be kept cold due to the chicken and mayonnaise. Always store it in the refrigerator.
  • For extra crunch, toast the almonds before mixing them in.
