If your Ring-MQTT setup isn’t working or video streams have stopped showing up, follow these steps to restore functionality:

1. ✅ Confirm the Add-on is Running

• Go to Settings > Add-ons in Home Assistant.
• Look for an add-on named Ring-MQTT with Video Streaming.

• Click on it and verify:

• It shows a running status.

• It displays CPU usage and logs.
• You can see buttons like Restart and Open Web UI.

2. 🔑 Reauthenticate with Ring

• Click Open Web UI.

• You should see the Ring-MQTT Authenticator page:

Authenticate ring-mqtt to your Ring account Device Name: ring-mqtt-addon-xxxxx It appears that ring-mqtt is already connected to a Ring account.

• Click Force Reauthentication.

• Enter your Ring email and password when prompted.

• Complete the 2FA (two-factor authentication).

3. 🔄 Reload Home Assistant Integrations

After reauthentication:

• Go to Settings > Devices & Services.
• Reload the Ring integration.
• Reload the MQTT integration.
• Wait up to 10 minutes — the devices should reappear and video streaming should resume.
