Dinner - Savory Turkey Meatloaf¶
A flavorful and juicy turkey meatloaf that’s simple, comforting, and delicious. Perfect for a wholesome family dinner.
🧂 Ingredients¶
- 2 lb (900 g) ground turkey
- 1 large (about 150 g) onion, finely chopped and sautéed
- 1 large egg
- ½ teaspoon (1.5 g) onion powder
- ½ teaspoon (1.5 g) garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) all-purpose seasoning salt
- ¼ cup (60 ml) ketchup
- 1½ teaspoons (7 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- ¾ cup (60 g) plain bread crumbs

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the onion:
In a small skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion with a little oil until soft and lightly golden (about 5–7 minutes). Let it cool slightly. -
Make the meatloaf mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine: - Ground turkey
- Sautéed onion
- Egg
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder
- All-purpose salt
- Ketchup
- Worcestershire sauce
- Bread crumbs
Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. Do not overmix.

Form the loaf:
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan or on a lined baking tray. -
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). -
Rest & serve:
Let the meatloaf rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, or your favorite gravy.
